ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1998--The Washington Post Company's new-media subsidiary Wednesday announced that, effective immediately, it has taken responsibility for the operations of Newsweek Interactive, which publishes Newsweek Interactive on America Online (AOL).
To better reflect the expanded focus of the company, the subsidiary has been renamed Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive from Digital Ink Co.
In addition to Newsweek's presence on AOL, Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive plans to launch Newsweek's own Web site at www.newsweek.com that will include material both from the weekly magazine and original Web content, updated daily. ...
