The "Methods for Standardization Management of Import Mechanical and Electrical Products" prepared by the former State Technical Supervision Bureau and the former State Office of Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products has been issued. According to the document, starting from May 1 this year import mechanical and electrical products must conform with the compulsory standards in China.
