Cheddar Cheese Prices Increase
Prices received for 500 lb. Barrel Cheddar cheese increased 6.7 cents per lb. for the week ending June 5, 1998. This is the third consecutive week of increasing US 500 lb. Barrel prices. The price of US 40 lb. Blocks increased 6.6 cents per pound. This is the fourth consecutive week of increasing US 40 lb. Block prices and the largest weekly price increase since this price series began.
