Ericsson and the Netherlands' third mobile operator, Telfort, have signed a contract for the delivery and roll-out of a turn-key nationwide GSM 1800 network. The contract is valued at more than MUSD 200 (SEK 1,600 million).

The new network will be the Netherlands' third GSM network, and the country's first GSM 1800 system. It is due to go live before year-end.
