PARIS, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Coflexip Stena Offshore (Nasdaq: CXIPY) announced today that Coflexip Stena Offshore Ltd. (CSOL), a UK entity of the Group, has carried out the first installation in the North Sea of the Group's new patented Teta technology used on a high pressure gas injection riser, setting a new world pressure record.

The installation has taken place on the Pierce Field being developed by Enterprise Oil (UK) plc. and lies in the central UK sector of the North Sea.

The Teta technology (T shape of the wire) has been developed to meet the demand for larger diameter, high pressure pipe that stand up to severe operating conditions in deep water. ...
