Article: LOCKHEED MARTIN COMPLETES C-130J WORLD TOUR

Lockheed Martin [LMT] last weekend completed its 1998 C-130J World Tour following a successful 10-day long visit to Canada, the company said yesterday.

During its four-leg, five-month World Tour, Lockheed Martin has taken the C-130J to 32 countries in the Middle East, South America, the Pacific Rim, and Europe, conducting a total of 140 demonstration flights.

The aircraft used during the 1998 World Tour is a new C-130J that will be delivered to the U.S. Air Force later this year. This same aircraft was used on all five segments of the tour.
