YORBA LINDA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--June 29, 1998--Steri-Oss Inc., the leading U.S. manufacturer of dental implants, Monday announced that it has completed an agreement to be purchased by Nobel Biocare.
The acquisition would make Nobel Biocare the largest provider of dental implants in the United States.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Nobel Biocare plans to move its U.S. headquarters from Westmont, Ill. to Steri-Oss' facilities in Yorba Linda. The resulting transfer of employees to Southern California will create a combined total workforce of more than 350 employees in engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, customer support and administration.
