CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- American Eagle, the world's largest regional airline, today introduced new nonstop regional jet service between Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport with new 50-passenger ERJ-145 jets. American Eagle is the regional affiliate of American Airlines.
The airline replaced turboprops with ERJ-145s on two of its six daily round trips, and will also replace turboprops with ERJ-145s on two more flights beginning Aug. 27.
Exclusive features of the ERJ-145 include plush navy blue leather seats, a wardrobe for hanging bags, and a lavatory large enough to include a baby- changing station.
