PERSONAL: After earning a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Ken Lewis worked 15 years for Clark Equipment Co. He left Clark to start up a small distributorship of automated systems in Cincinnati. In his new job, Lewis discovered he liked to make a major impact in a small company - so when C. Haushahn GmbH of Germany approached him to start a subsidiary in 1988, he accepted.
