DULUTH, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 1998--Cirrus Design Corporation has pushed the aviation envelope in terms of design and safety. Currently undergoing FAA certification, the Cirrus SR20 incorporates the latest technological advances and safety features available in the industry. Most notable of these features is an airframe parachute.
The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), manufactured by BRS, Inc. of South St. Paul, Minn., is a rocket-deployed parachute installed as standard equipment in the SR20.
