'THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW' CAPTURES NATIONAL EMMY AWARDS
CHICAGO, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- "The Oprah Winfrey Show," produced by WLS-TV, the Capital Cities/ABC-owned station in Chicago, captured two awards in the National Daytime Emmy Awards Competition, it was announced today. The ceremony was held in New York and was hosted by Winfrey on ABC-TV, Tuesday, June 30, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. CDT.
