WASHINGTON, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Senate today failed to invoke cloture on S. 2271, the Private Property Rights Implementation Act, essentially ending the bill's chances for passage in Congress this year.
"We are disappointed in the Senate vote but we will return with an even stronger effort to restore private property rights in the next session of Congress," said Jerry Howard, senior staff vice president for government affairs at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
