IONA Technologies (NASDAQ:IONAY) the world leader in Making Software Work Together, is today announcing record revenues of $18.5 million for the second quarter of 1998, an increase of 77 percent over the corresponding period in 1997. The Company reported an increase in net income of 57 percent to $2.7 million, or $0.13 per share, in the second quarter of 1998 as compared with $1.7 million, or $0.09 per share in the corresponding period the previous year.
