HONDA TO EXPORT GOLD WING MOTORCYCLES TO JAPAN
FROM ITS OHIO MANUFACTURING PLANT
MARYSVILLE, Ohio, July 1 /PRNewswire -- The Honda Gold Wing touring motorcycle, Honda's top of the line motorcycle produced exclusively by Honda of America Mfg. in Marysville, Ohio, will be exported to Japan for sale beginning in early 1988.
This is the first time Honda will export U.S.-made motorcycles to Japan. Initially, 500 units will be exported.
The Honda Gold Wing, for years America's best selling luxury touring motorcycle, has been manufactured by Honda of America Mfg. in Marysville since 1980. It is exported to 14 countries ...
