ST. LOUIS, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- In a strongly worded letter to ABC News President David Westin, the Catholic Health Association of the United States calls a Tuesday, July 21, 1998, ABC News report on Catholic hospitals "biased and distorted."
The report in question is "A Closer Look" segment on "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings" that attempted to focus on the outcome of arrangements between Catholic hospitals and other-than-Catholic hospitals.
