EVANSVILLE, Ind., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Mead Johnson Nutritionals, maker of the Enfamil Family of Formulas(TM), is taking legal action to stop Ross Laboratories from making claims about its Similac(R) infant formulas that Mead Johnson believes are false and misleading. Ross is claiming that its formulas are the first choice of doctors, despite data to the contrary.
Mead Johnson has research data indicating that the vast majority of doctors do not, in fact, have a preference for Ross formulas. Ross, however, is claiming on its packaging and in promotional materials that several of its infant formulas are the "1st Choice Of Doctors." Mead Johnson's Enfamil(R) with ...
