MIGDAL HAEMEK, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1998--Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ/NSM:TSEMF) today announced that it will provide Motorola with foundry manufacturing services for mixed-signal devices.
The first devices to be in production, consisting of integrated analog and digital coder/decoders, will support customer requirements as Motorola rationalizes its global manufacturing sourcing locations. The services include development of mixed-signal processes compatible with those used by Motorola. Ramp to volume production is expected by year-end.
