Article: HOUSE MEMBERS SET UP NEW AIR FORCE CAUCUS

More than a dozen House members with prior service in the Air Force have established a new informal legislative group, or caucus, to preserve and ultimately improve the service's wartime and peacetime capabilities, according to Capitol Hill and Air Force officials.

"Presently, the Air Force is in need of support during the budget process," a recent letter from the Air Force Caucus' leaders says. "[We] believe...such a caucus would aid in the effort of maintaining a strong [Air Force] in the following years of continued downsizing of our military apparatus."
