SACRAMENTO, Calif. and MELBOURNE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aug. 10, 1998--Sacramento Air Logistics Center at McClellan Air Force Base, California has awarded Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) a $49.9 million contract for the Multiple Threat Emitter System (Mini-MUTES) Modification Program (M3P).

The AN/MST-1(V) Mini-Mutes is the standard system used by the US Air Force for aircrew Electronic Warfare training. Each Mini-Mutes system consists of a Master Control Unit (MCG) which controls up to five remote emitter units. A total of 20 master control units and 77 remote emitter units are currently deployed at nine training range locations world-wide.
