CUPERTINO, Calif., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Apple Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) today announced that more than 460 new or upgraded software applications have been announced for Macintosh since the introduction of iMac, Apple's consumer computer, just three months ago on May 6. In addition, over 35 new hardware products, including numerous Universal Serial Bus (USB)-based printers, digital cameras, floppy drives and scanners, have been introduced for Macintosh during this same period.
