WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Ionic Fuel Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFTI) today announced Degussa Antwerp agreed to rent two of the Company's proprietary "IFT Systems" for installation at Degussa's Antwerp, Belgium facility.
The rental agreement followed the completion of successful trials of the "IFT System" on a 40-tons/hour gas fired boiler located at Degussa's Antwerp plant. The results of the test indicate the installation of the "IFT System" will result in annual fuel savings of U.S. $114,000 and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by more than 1,248 tons per year.
