SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- MAS Technology Limited, the New Zealand-based wholly-owned subsidiary of Digital Microwave Corporation (Nasdaq: DMIC), has received a $1.5 million (US) contract to provide, install and maintain a digital microwave telecommunications system alongside the first modern, privately owned railway in Southern Africa. MAS Technology's DXR(TM) 100 long-haul, digital microwave radio links, operating at 1.4 GHz, will interconnect the track-side communication network.
