NEW YORK, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Warner Cable, New Horizons: A Training
and Career Development Program funded and operated by Republic National Bank of New York, and the New York City Department of Employment have developed a customer service training course specifically for public assistance recipients. Time Warner Cable has pledged to hire 45 graduates of the program.
On August 31st, 15 graduates from the first class of the Welfare-To-Work program will commence employment with Time Warner Cable. Of these new hires, 14 will begin a six-week paid customer service training program conducted by the company's learning and development department. One ...
