AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1998--First Financial Mortgage Corporation, the National Mortgage Broker of the Year recipient for 1996, has appointed Timothy G. Smith as Vice-President of Commercial Lending. Smith will oversee First Financial's new Corporate Mortgage Lending Division that builds upon the company's successful Consumer Mortgage Lending Division.
