SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1998--Dr. Robert Yung will head Intel Corporation's new research center in Beijing, China, the company announced today.
Yung will drive development of the new center, which was announced in May by Intel Chairman, Dr. Andrew S. Grove. The Intel China Research Center will do applied research to improve the ease-of-use of personal computers with a particular focus on the Internet and input technologies such as speech recognition.
