Boeing Creates Space Unit In Restructuring
A corporate restructuring by Boeing Co. [BA] Chairman and CEO Phil Condit last Tuesday (9/1) created Boeing Space and Communications Group in Seal Beach, Calif. James Albaugh was named president of the group, and a senior vice president and member of the executive council at the parent company. He had been president of Boeing Space Transportation, which was consolidated into Space and Communications along with Boeing Information and Communications.
