ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Metrocall, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCLL) today announced two senior executive changes in anticipation of the company's imminent acquisition of AT&T Wireless' Advanced Messaging Division (AMD), which is scheduled for early October, 1998.
Mr. James R. McWhirter, 42, has been promoted to become Regional Vice President -- Northwest Region which will be headquartered in Seattle, WA. McWhirter, who has served as Market Vice President for Los Angeles and Las Vegas, will assume responsibility for Metrocall markets in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Utah and Washington (State).
