Beit Shemesh located between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv has become home
to some 800 English speaking families. These families started moving
into the city in the early 1990's. Today there are neighborhoods in
Beit Shemesh where English is the dominant language and you can
spend your day scarcely hearing a spoken Hebrew word. Why did
