NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is a statement issued today by Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran To The United Nations:
Rear Admiral John Poindexter, in his third day of testimony on July 17, 1987, at the Congressional hearings in Washington, made a reference to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations alleging that under directives from John Poindexter's alleged contact in Iran, the Ambassador made statement favorable to the United States.
