Wool Bureau, Landau's Launching Soft, Lightweight, Washable Wool
The Wool Bureau and Landau's, a Princeton, N. J., retailer and mail-order company, are joining forces to introduce a new lightweight wool that is said to be not only machine washable and dryable, but also soft enough to wear next to the skin.
Made from an extremely fine 18.5 micron Australian merino wool treated with the Superwash process and spun, knit and assembled in this country, the fabric is being introduced in a turtleneck and a sweatsuit in Landau's upcoming fall catalog.
