BETSEY JOHNSON SETS SAN FRANCISCO STORE
The Betsey Johnson retail network is spreading out. The designer has scheduled a November opening for a store on Filmore Street, San Francisco, her sixth boutique, and she said she is scouting locations for others in Puerto Rico, Chicago and Miami.
"I'm real serious about those locations,' said Johnson, "but it's very difficult getting prime spaces in those places.'
The 1,200-square-foot San Francisco store will follow "the same formula' as the other Betsey Johnson stores, said the designer.
