Prudhoe Decline Slower Than Projected
THE POPULAR WISDOM has it that Prudhoe Bay and America's energy security reached their midlife crisis this July when the 5 billionth, 500 millionth barrel was lifted north of the Arctic circle and sent 800 miles south through the 48-inch diameter Trans Alaska Pipeline to the Port of Valdez.
