EPA ANNOUNCES CONSENT ORDER

BOSTON, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. EPA Regional Administrator Michael R. Deland announced today that the Groveland Resources Corporation (GRC) and the Valley Manufactured Products Company Inc. (Valley) have entered into a Consent Order with the EPA to investigate hazardous waste contamination at the GRC property in Groveland, Mass.

Under the Consent Order, GRC/Valley will conduct a remedial investigation (RI) to further define the nature and extent of contamination at the site, and conduct a feasibility study (FS) leading to a final cleanup plan for the GRC/Valley site.
