In the Mediterranean town of Formia, the shop Carla Orlandi by Transit Design (Ascarelli, Macciocchi, Nicolao and Parisio) is a mere 400-sq.-ft. enclosure dedicated to the display and sale of objects ranging from relatively rare antiques to flea market finds. Their display, however, is like nothing we know here; there is not a rack or a typical exhibition fixture in sight.
