KINGS ROAD ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES LESLIE GROUP STOCK PURCHASE

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Kings Road Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: KREN) today announced that Leslie Group Inc. has purchased an approximate 8 percent interest in Kings Road Entertainment.

Cy Leslie, chairman of Leslie Group, will join the board of Kings Road and consult with the company, according to Stephen J. Friedman, chairman of Kings Road. "Cy Leslie will play a major role in Kings Road's expansion plans with particular emphasis in his areas of expertise, ancillary markets," Friedman noted.
