'FATAL ATTRACTION' INCREASES BOX-OFFICE TALLY
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- "Fatal Attraction" remained the No. 1 motion picture in the United States and Canada for its third weekend in release. The film, a presentation of Gulf+Western's Paramount Pictures Corp., added 520 screens and achieved its biggest weekend gross to date, as well as one of the biggest fall weekends in exhibition annals, with $9,347,602 for the three-day period Oct. 2-4, it was announced today by Barry London, president-distribution and marketing for the Motion Picture Group.
