SUMMA MEDICAL LICENSES RIGHTS TO BLOOD CLOT IMAGING AGENT

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ --On Oct. 9, Summa Medical Corp. (NASDAQ: SUMA) and Medi-Physics Inc. (MPI) signed an agreement giving MPI sole and exclusive worldwide rights to Summa's investigational monoclonal antibody-based blood-clot imaging agent. MPI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffman La Roche Inc., a leader in the health-care industry. Under the agreement, MPI will pay Summa an undisclosed amount of cash and a royalty on all adjusted gross sales in the United States and abroad.
