Gasoline Prices Nose Downward
SCATTERED REDUCTIONS in dealer tank wagon gasoline prices reported by the U.S. majors again resulted in an even lower average dealer tank wagon gasoline price on The Oil Daily's 50 Cities Survey.
The wholesale average for unleaded fell for a seventh week to 63.72 cents per gallon, down 0.38 cent. Leaded also fell a uniform 0.39 cent to 64.17 cents. Both averages are at the levels of early July of this year, and unleaded is running nearly 11.5 cents higher than last year's average.
