NATIONAL VACANCY RATE REMAINED STABLE IN THIRD QUARTER
NEW YORK, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Vacancy rates in the nation's central business districts (CBDs) held steady at 13.7 percent for the second consecutive quarter indicating stability in urban office markets, according to a new national survey released today by Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., the national business real estate services firm.
In the third quarter, Austin, Texas, had a greater proportion of office space available -- 34.0 percent -- than any other city; it is followed by San Jose, Calif. (30 percent) and Denver (28.8 percent).
