Health officials believe a second case of Lyme disease has been diagnosed at Simon Fraser University's Burnaby Mountain campus.
On Aug. 6, a nine-year-old girl attending a summer sports camp at SFU developed a bull's eye rash which is a common presenting sign of Lyme disease. On July 24, SFU health services reported that a female undergraduate student had been confirmed by laboratory tests as having contracted Lyme disease several weeks earlier.
