WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Under Secretary of the Navy Jerry Hultin spoke to military members Aug. 12 during San Diego's Fleet Week. The celebration continues until Aug. 16.

Hultin addressed more than 1,000 personnel and their families at an Enlisted Recognition Luncheon paying tribute to the 120,000 enlisted military members living and working in San Diego. The phrase "Serving America Twice" has been coined by Navy personnel in the San Diego region to represent their commitment to the military and the community.
