Apple Computer, Inc. announced that more than 460 new or upgraded software applications have been announced for Macintosh[registered] since the introduction of iMac, Apple's consumer computer, just three months ago on May 6. In addition, over 35 new hardware products, including numerous Universal Serial Bus (USB)-based printers, digital cameras, floppy drives and scanners, have been introduced for Macintosh during this same period.
