WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- Security forces are getting a "shot in the arm." The Air Staff has approved two new recruiting incentives and a voluntary "return program" for active-duty people who want to return to the security forces career field.

Based on Air Force Recruiting Service feedback, two new incentive tools have been developed to help recruit non-prior service people into security forces. Effective Aug. 12, enlistees entering active duty may enlist in the security forces career field for four or six years. Four-year ...
