Internationally acclaimed electroacoustic composer Barry Truax recently completed the third act of his major operatic work. The first public performance of Powers of Two: The Sibyl is Sept. 12, at 8 p.m., in the SFU Theatre.
The work features two female singers (Sue McGowan and Teresa Connors) and a male dancer (Shaun Phillips, co-star of Wines of Tuscany) who interact with a rich and innovative soundscape and video images.
