The Government has received an enthusiastic response to its call for submissions on priorities for the $10 million contemporary music package, Federal Minister for the Arts, Senator Richard Alston announced today.

'The development package is part of the Government's recent reforms, including the removal of parallel import rules, which gives music retailers more choice and should result in lower CD prices,' Senator Alston said.
