Sep. 14--"BUY LOCAL" isn't holding true for Downtown Fort Worth Inc.
The booster organization for downtown businesses hiked clear over to Dallas to hire the Resource 3 ad agency to handle promotions for the group's hugely popular Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival.
Predictably, the decision raised the hackles of some local ad execs, who
argue that Downtown Fort WorthInc. should have done a better job recruiting a Fort Worth firm. The job typically provides valuable exposure for the agency that handles it, but not a whole lot of money.
