Plymouth Foam buys Iowa EPS maker
PLYMOUTH, WIS. -- Plymouth Foam Inc. has purchased another production facility, giving the company better geographic reach for its expanded polystyrene sheet.
The Plymouth-based firm bought EPS maker Thermco Industries Inc. of Washington, Iowa, for an undisclosed amount. Plymouth will make EPS products for the construction and packaging industries at the 38,000-square-foot facility.
The deal represents Plymouth's fourth EPS production plant and the third in the past two years. In April, it opened a 40,000-square-foot plant in Beach City, Ohio.
