PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 1998--Tasty Baking Company (NYSE:TBC), today announced that its Tastykake brand products are being distributed to major food chains throughout the Midwest on the Metz Baking Company route distribution system. Metz is headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois.
Under terms of the agreement, Tasty Baking Company and the Metz Baking Company began distributing Tastykake's top-selling family pack varieties on approximately 650 of their direct-store delivery routes in seven Midwestern states.
