With the Metz Baking Company
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Tasty Baking Company (NYSE: TBC) announced that its Tastykake brand products are being distributed to major food chains throughout the Midwest on the Metz route distribution system.
Tasty Baking and the Metz Baking Company, headquartered in Deerfield, IL, have entered into an agreement to distribute Tasty's top-selling family pack varieties on 650 of Metz's direct-store-door routes in seven Midwestern states beginning August 17, 1998 as Phase I of the planned rollout.
