HOUSTON, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Garden Ridge Corporation (Nasdaq: GRDG) today announced that Jack E. Lewis, its President and Chief Operating Officer, is leaving the Company October 1, 1998 to pursue other interests. Additionally, the Company announced that it has retained the executive search firm of Korn/Ferry International to fill the position.Armand Shapiro, Chairman and CEO, will assume Mr. Lewis' duties until a new President and COO is appointed.
